History of Aupec's Super Major IT Assessment
In 2003 Aupec successfully carried out a pilot study for four energy Super Majors. The objective of the study was to provide CIO level assessments of IT effectiveness and efficiency performance measures across the entire enterprise. The study included detailed analysis of IT performance for the major operating businesses - upstream oil, downstream oil and petrochemicals. Other significant businesses were also study - gas and power and renewables as well as the main corporate services.
Aupec offers this benchmark on a two yearly cycle to the energy Super Majors.
